About Our Logo
Concept behind our Logo
The overall logo design represents a Book, Wings, Tree/Leaves, at the bottom, the Nib of a pen, and a Torch at the top.
All of these provide an association of growth, learning, wisdom, strength and education. It is visually pleasing with soft curves, with eyes directed upwards to the torch.
The transition form bottom to top is:
Nib Pages/Book Tree/Leaves Torch.
In other words, education (nib and pages of book), is the foundation for growth (tree) which culminates in hope and wisdom (torch).
Color Blue
Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.
Blue is considered beneficial to the mind and body.
Color Orange
Color Orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow. It is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics.
Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation.
In heraldry, orange is symbolic of strength and endurance.
The Torch
The torch at the top is a common emblem of both enlightenment and hope, life, truth and the regenerative power of flame. Many cultures view fire as a symbol of wisdom and knowledge.
The torch is a common emblem of both enlightenment and hope. Thus the Statue of Liberty, actually "Liberty Enlightening the World", lifts her torch. In the seals of schools the torch symbolizes the vision of education to provide enlightenment to all the students.
